Fellowship Sister,
It's hard to believe we're in November already. I knew October would fly by but had no idea just how quickly it would! I hope you're settling in well to the cooler weather and basking in the Lord's goodness. I'm so thankful that the Lord is constant and faithful--and that HE is our great comforter. We recently had to say goodbye to our sweet dog Phoebe and let me tell you, sisters--it was HARD. She wrapped her little paws around my heart as we experienced all levels of grief. However, the beauty in the sorrow is that sisters in the family of God have willingly stepped into my sadness with me. Who made sure I wouldn't walk in it alone. And for that I am THANKFUL. Thankful that the Lord designed the body of Christ to be the hands and feet of Jesus to one another; to comfort one another, and to walk this life out together. So, let's keep doing that sisters! Let's continue spurring one another along in Christ-like living.
We have a couple more weeks left in our Two for Tuesday Bible Study and our Moms Side by Side ministry. Our young moms have been learning Biblical principles of motherhood and in T4T, our women have been studying the book of Hebrews. Our MSBS ministry is hosting an Open House this coming Tuesday at 9:30am, so if you're interested make sure to scroll to the bottom of this eScoop for more information. For me, one of the most exciting aspects of these ministries is that they aim to build genuine and authentic community. It's a delight to experience and behold the richness of community.
If you're new to Fellowship or you're still trying to figure out where to connect--I'd love to hear from you! I know how challenging it can be for a place to feel like home but my hope and desire is that Fellowship will be that place for you. Let's walk out this life TOGETHER!
