Women's Update December 2021

    Fellowship Sister,

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends! I enjoyed my time with family in Ohio. We spent time with nephews and nieces and enjoyed LOTS of walks together. We even walked in the rain and snow flurries--so we're basically crazy!

We truly have so many things to be thankful for every day. What have you found yourself to be most thankful of in this season? I've continually been reminded of the Lord's kindness and tenderness towards me. In Dane Ortund's book Gentle and Lowly, he says, "What helium does to a balloon, Jesus’s yoke does to his followers. We are buoyed along in life by his endless gentleness and supremely accessible lowliness. He doesn’t simply meet us at our place of need; he lives in our place of need. He never tires of sweeping us into his tender embrace. It is his very heart." Sister, He sees you, hears you, and is with you.

As daughters of the Most High King, we can celebrate that He is Immanuel--God with us. Jesus is the Word dwelt among us; who took on flesh to sacrifice His life on the cross for our sins--in order for us to be reconciled to Him. We are forgiven, accepted, chosen, loved, and redeemed. May we continue to cling to the Hope we have in Jesus and live on His promises.

I'd love to invite you to consider joining us for our Two for Tuesday Bible Study and Moms Side by Side Ministry this spring. We will continue both of these ministries on Tuesday, January 18 and would love to have you there!

    Two for Tuesday Bible Study
On Tuesday, January 18 we will kick-off our spring Bible Study on the book of Colossians using Ruth Chou Simons book, Truthfilled. We hope you will consider joining us for either our 9:30AM session or our 7:00PM Session this spring!

    Moms Side by Side
On Tuesday, January 18 our Moms Side by Side ministry will continue on Tuesday's at 9:30AM. If you're a young mom and you're looking to get connected with other young moms and mentor moms, we'd love to have you register and join us this spring!

Sister, keep you eyes on Jesus as you walk in His love. Praying this season is one where you grow in the love of knowledge of Jesus--who is Immanuel--God WITH us.

    Blessings,
    Karie
